Amanda and Thierry were referred to me by a couple of their friends. I met them the day of the engagement shoot but it felt like we have been friends for a long time, especially since we went to the same college. We started the shoot by toasting each other with champagne that they brought. As we explored Palos Verdes, we found a nice floral alter in the middle of no where. It was meant to be. almost teared up reading what Amanda and Thierry wrote about each other, see below. I agree with everything they both said. Amanda and Thierry are warm and fun to be around. I can't wait for their big day.

We had a lot of mutual friends in college, and met each other for the first time at a party. We were in separate relationships when we met, but we became friends very quickly. Somewhere along the way, our relationships ended, and perhaps consoling each other brought us closer together. Eventually, our friendship became romantic, and 8 years later we’re engaged!

One of the things I love most about Thierry is his innate protectiveness and caring nature. Through the simplest gestures, he always makes sure I’m okay. I constantly feel safe with him. He also brings out the best in me and encourages me to see the bright side of any bad experience. I also love that we have amazing chemistry; something that was apparent very early in our friendship. It’s what keeps us happy and laughing....even if it means laughing at each other.

always puts the happiness of other people first, and thankfully, I'm the lucky sap that gets to marry her. She makes my smallest achievements seem like I won the Nobel prize, and all I want in life is to take care of her the way she does for people. She's considerate, empathetic, and very very compassionate with everyone she meets. Also, that infectious smile can light up my darkest days.
