Malibu Cafe Engagement Session / Tricia + Benson

What an adorable shoot. When I met Tricia and Benson in my studio for our meeting, I wrote in my notes “I love this couple”. They are so warm, friendly and so in love.

We started the shoot at Malibu Cafe which is cuteness overload at every corner. We were worried about the rain but the weather was perfect. It was crowded but we managed to work around the crowds. Then we headed to El Matador Beach. The beach parking lot was full so we had to park far away. I got my exercise in for sure. We got there just in time for a magical sunset. I love how the photos turned out.

Love Story: So our love story is pretty simple I think. We met online back in 2017! We were actually matched on two different dating apps (Tinder and Coffee Meets Bagel), which I took as a sign that I should give it a shot. I like to say our first date was more like 2 dates, we had only planned on getting drinks and dinner, but ended up getting ice cream and watching Spiderman: Homecoming as well. Not planned, but we both didn't want the date to end.

We're pretty easy going people, and love to just relax and chill. We love eating, going to Dodger games, traveling, and watching movies. We're comfortable with just being close to each other. We don't necessarily need to be doing things all the time. As long as we're together, we're happy.

With Benson, everything just came super easy. I was able to relax and be myself right away. His sweet, kind and loving nature just makes me love him more everyday. I consider myself lucky to have found him and have him in my life. I can't wait to see where our journey takes us.
