solstice canyon malibu engagement photographer / michelle + devon

My clients and I have the best time and they just light me up. We started the day at Leo & Lily coffee shop,  where Devon used to work. We then headed to Solstice Canyon in Malibu. I found some colorful spots to shoot before we got to the hike, I always have an eye out. Michelle and Devon met at a country bar years back. They went to the dance floor for a country dance and Devon picked up Michelle. He was a  little bit tipsy and dropped her. Instead of Michelle getting mad, she thought it was cute. They went on many adorable dates after that, their first at the shooting range. Michelle and Devon have a unique love for each other and you can see that in these photographs. They are there for one another in every way. It was a journey getting to Malibu and back in traffic but we had amazing conversations that made the trip one to remember, can't wait for their big day!
